The 1935 silver certificate was fairly common compared to other years. Its value depends on when in 1935 it was printed (but only varies by a few dollars or so), and what condition its in. An obviously circulated bill is only worth about $1.25 to $2.00. One in mint condition would fetch around $5-$8.

Yes a 1935 silver certificate is worth more than its face value and depending on its conditon is worth selling on EBay of holding on to. It could be worth as much as twenty dollars.

There are two ways to look at this question. First, it is worth $1.00 worth of silver. That equates to roughly 1/25 to 1/30 of an ounce depending on the current price. If you wanted to sell it for cash, it could be valued between $3 and $20 on the condition and demand.

The best way to find what your silver certificate is worth is to find a dealer. There are many silver certificates in circultaion which makes them worth little more than $1.25. There are some that are rare and therefore worth more.
