Its composition is designed for re-hydration during physical activity. It contains water, sugar, table salt, carbohydrates, electrolytes, high fructose corn syrup, artificial colors, glucose, fructose, and sugar. The drink is sweetened with sucrose-dextrose combination. Gatorade X-Factor contains two principal sweetening ingredients: High Fructose Corn Syrup (Glucose-Fructose Syrup) and Sucrose Syrup. Accordingly, an 8oz serving would contain 14 grams of Sugars amounting to 50 calories. You could try Gatorade G2 Low Calorie Electrolyte Beverage with approx. half the calories (20 calories per serving), if your looking for a lo-cal alternative.
