Do you use real or artificial sweetener in your hot drinks?

I do not like the taste of most artificial sweeteners. They taste almost to sweet and have an odd after taste. However, in a pinch I will use Splenda as it is the closest thing to sugar. It's not as artificial and my teeth don't feel gritty after drinking it.

Artificial sweeteners taste best in cold drinks, rather than hot ones. I personally use sugar or honey for hot drinks; sweetener for cold ones. Equal is a favorite, as is Splenda. Artificial sweeteners have come a long way in taste and texture.

honey adds a really nice flavor to your drink, but it has as many calories as regular sugar. if you are watching calories, you can't beat splenda.

I use real sugar in my hot drinks. I never use artificial sweeteners and have actually never tried honey. I prefer the taste of the 'real thing' and also believe that as long as I use the sugar in moderation, it's fine.

I usually use splenda, but sometimes i use stevia.
