What should go into a baseball/softball scorebook is all the detail within the game. At bats, runs scored, hits, and runs batted in should be kept. Defensive statistics should be kept as well, such as errors. Pitching statistics should be kept, such as innings pitched, runs, earned runs, walks, strikeouts.

Hits, errors, the players that participated, both hitters and pitchers, innings pitched, earned runs, runs, strikeouts, walks, homeruns, sacrifice hits ... those are some things that should go into a baseball scorebook.
