What idea most fascinates people?

There is a fascination with, why are we here on this planet and all the mysteries associated with that question. What is my purpose? Why are things the way they are. This is a conundrum to most.

I'm fascinated by hypothetical situations that will never come up. I dunno, your average person is too busy watching American Idol to think deep thoughts in my opinion. The idea of not working and doing what you want intrigues most people I guess.
