I have never won anything from the sweepstakes but my father has. He always plays in every sweepstakes that he can to improve his chance of winning a prize. He look for them online and in the newspaper as well as magazines. He also enters his wife as well so that he can double his chances.

I joined a forum on the topic of being a mom and winners were chosen at random around mother's day for a Bath and Body works basket. I won.

It takes patience, perseverence and a positive attitude, keep sending them in, the more you enter the better chances,it also takes months with all the red tape paper work.

The key is to read the fine print when entering a sweepstakes. Many entries are denied because the instructions were not followed properly, thus disqualifying the entry.
