What happens when a baby is stillborn?

There are a number of different causes, sometimes it's a disease or birth defect that claims the baby's life. Other times it can be because the cord wrapped around the neck and strangled the baby, or if trauma has occured to the baby.

Unfortunatly there is really no definite answer to this question. There are so many factors that could contribute to a still born baby. Stress, medication, a severe hit, any one of these could cause complications, and even then there are some babies where everything is fine one day and then the next something went wrong, but nobody knows what.

The baby is born dead. Many things cause stillbirth but most are cord related. Usually the family can hold the baby and even take pictures.
