An overdose of acetaminophen, the main ingredient in Tylenol is fatal. The main cause of the fatality is a shut down of the persons liver functions. The antidote (N-acetylcysteine) is given within 8 hours the person can be saved. Approximately 5000-7000 mg at once lead to the overdose.

Yes I think a Tylenol overdose can be fatal. Any medications can be fatal if you take enough of it. It will probably make you just go to sleep and go into like a coma.

Yes, a Tylenol overdose can be fatal, just like any other medicine. Tylenol is actually linked to liver disease if taken in high doses. You should always read the bottle and follow the directions to prevent accidental over dose.

Very high consumption of Tylenol risks liver damage and death. The Tylenol can be taken by itself or through medicines that contain it like cough syrup with Tylenol.
