During a potassium overdose, you may develop palpitations, stomach cramps, diarrhea, muscle weakness, fatigue, dry skin, heart failure and death. The medical term for a potassium overdose is Hyperkalemia. This may be developed through kidney problems, severe infections or use of potassium dieretics.

A potassium overdose can cause different symptoms. The most severe being heart failure. Other less severe symptoms are stomach cramps, muscle spasms, and diarrhea.
