Any dog, including Boxers, should have a good quality dog food. Try and make sure that some meat is the first ingredient. Have appropriate food for your dogs age.
A good dog food developed to deal with heart and immune system issues, along with fresh raw veggies, chicken, turkey, occasional fruit, and rice should be included in boxer's diet.
Boxers are active dogs and should be checked for signs of obesity. There are dog foods especially for keeping dogs lean, and for health human food and treats are not a good idea.
As boxers are carnivores it is important that a large proportion of their diet consists of protein. I would recommend feeding quality dried food (kibble).
