Weed works on the brain to alter the normal communication between neurons. However it then effects different people in different ways, usually people feel giggly, then hungry (munchies) whilst feeling detached from any problems. People usually feel that their limbs are very heavy and have a general feeling of laziness. However some people will get paranoid and edgy.

Marijuana alters your perception and behavior, causing you to act differently than you normally might. Some people feel relaxed and subdued after smoking, and some people become hyper and giggly. Because it is a type of smoke, though, weed can cause health problems by affecting the lungs in a negative way.

Marijuana usually has a very calming affect. It is known to boost your appetite, make you sleepy or groggy, sometimes can make you light headed or dizzy. Some people get increased anxiety. Many times, this only happens the first few times you try it. Smoking it and eating it give you different affects, eating it is usually more mellow.

It depends on the kind of weed that is used and the person using it. You become less articulate, possibly calm, slightly happier. It can suspend your disbelief for movies, recreate feelings of childhood, buffer physical pain, and provide relief for certain types of illnesses. It should be used sparingly, with caution, and definitely not while driving.
