What does it mean if my boyfriend says he loves me but needs space?

Anytime a person tells you they need space, that means something is not right. If they were truly happy they wouldn't need space. Are you being too possessive? If you are smothering him, not allowing him time with his friends then that could be the problem. If not, he is just trying to break away for his own agenda.

It means that he does love you, but you are coming across as too clingy. Just give him a little bit of space and make him remember what he is missing when you do have time with him.

It means to just leave him alone. I know it's really hard but if you do you will truely know if the man loves you.Just keep living life and get out of the house. Do something fun! It doesn't ALWAYS mean the relationship is over. =]

It could mean of two things: he doesn't want to be with you anymore (or be any closer) or just needs time to think about things away from you.

That tells me that you boyfriend is wanting to end the relationship but does not have the guts to tell you that he does not love yo anymore. He is telling you that he still loves you thinking that it will not be so hard on you and that is he is wanting to move on in his life.

Obviously he is trying to say something. according to me some boys are not perfect ,if they trying to keep distance means,something is going on their mind if his love on you is true means surely he wont leave you in his life. just ignore him for few days,if he is true in love means he will surely come back to you.
