Depending on your pain management, giving birth can feel very different for different people. For instance, a woman who has an epidural will likely feel much less pain, and a good deal of pressure whereas a person who does not have/use pain medication will feel passing excrutiating pain that generally is forgotten when holding the baby for the first time.

It depends on the woman. Some describe a tearing or burning sensation, or something like a a migraine in the stomach, while others experience fairly minor discomfort.

Early labor feels like intense menstrual cramps. They gradually become more frequent, longer, and more intense. Pushing a baby out feels like having a very large bowel movement.
