pap that reads the results "endocervical/transformation zone component present" simply indicates the lab received a good reading. The endocervical/transformation zone is part of the cervix. The reading shows that they were able to get a 'good smear' of your cervical area, therefore the results(negative or positive) are accurate,,
i had a pap smear it was thorough enough to include cells from both the cervix and the uterus add a comment
So what does it mean if the cells are not present in the pap smear? add a comment
