Yes, sweet and chemical. It smells like the fumes in a car struckture. The smoke / vapors are white & clear pretty quick. The smell even makes the pets in the house feel nervous. Pets have stronger smell senses than we do, so pets will act different too!

Crack cocaine has a very unique smell. It is a combination of burnt plastic, ink and a sugary smell. It does not smell like pot or cigarette smoke so you can rule those out.

We (NON drug users) find it smells like: Hot Oatmeal with brown sugar on it, with a bit of a cranberry or orange or "fruity" aroma mixed in..like a scented candle almost. Scent gone in under 5mins too...until they smoke again

Cocaine is a complex hydrocarbon. It would smell like burned sugar, like peanut brittle that has been overcooked but without the peanut smell.

If your son's room smells kind of sweet, like burning plastic or styrofoam he is probably smoking crack and pot. Crack cocaine smells like paint and medicine. Better get him help!

My sister is in an (what I hoped would be hard for her to get to crack) facility but I noticed on visitations that she looks messed up and smells like sulfur. as a matter of fact I think she rolled in it.... could this be an odor from crack.

My daughter and her boyfriend live with me. I am very familiar with the scent of marijuana, but frequently am plagued by another smell from them and their room; I can only describe it as a mix of burning chrysanthimum and really rancid body odor. I hadn't considered crack before.

it smells horrible, not like weed or fags. like chemicals and burning plastic you will defo know its not normal!! even tho the smell doesn't spread or linger very much if u catch them doin it like i have u certainly know its crack!!

The courtyard in my apartment complex has a similar order. I first mistook it for a skunk, but realized it was different. I wonder is it a smell similar, but not quite the same as skunk? Like skunk....plus a hint of something like old garbage?

The smell is kind of hard to explain. The easiest way it can be described is it smells a little like the old fashioned camphor oil. If you're under the age of thirty five you probably won't remember. Plus if you have any sinus problems or stuffy nose it'll open that up in short order.

My husband's nephew stays with us. We are suspecting that he is using drugs but we cannot figure out what he is using. After reading the comments below I believe that he is smoking crack. He comes home with an order on him but we can never make it out

My ex boyfriend smoked it, it can smell different dependingon cut, purity and what its smoked in. It kinda smells like Thierry Mugler's Womanity perfume.

Ppl are confusing the smell of the crack being smoked and the smell of the people who smoke. When crack is smoked it gives off a chem smell sweet w/ a hint of ammonia. Body clothes and breath of mod/heavy users smell like crap and ammonia (cat urine). Very nasty!

The smell is like a sweet chemical smell from a car perhaps. If that makes sense. But when it settles on your skin it is a pungent odor. Not pleasant at all. It can leave a film on furniture and walls also.

I am always messing with electronics, and they sometimes burn up on my, or I sometimes burn them. Will anyone think I am smoking crack or meth? Because I am not. Never smelt it either, I have smelt marijuana and it smells good to me.

...I strongly agree with many of the above comments regarding the smell....very chemical odor and you can sense it also with your mouth as a thick filmy presence. My young son became ill from living next door to a crack smoking idiot and the dangers are real from exposure

ewww i used to be a juvenile delinquent when i was younger and i started selling this nasty stuff and i started to notice the horible smell on the buyer's hands and the smell of there money just plain disgusting
