Saanen goats are white or cream colored and are the largest breed of dairy goat, usually weighing over 150 pounds. They produce more milk than any other breed, about 1 gallon a day on average. Saanen goat milk has a lower butterfat content than other goat milks, about 2 to 3 percent.

In terms of goat milk then they are pretty darn good. Looks wise they are much like the South American goat.
