In growing age goats insufficient weight gain, poor appetite, and weight loss are signs. Adults sometimes have diarrhea and loss of hair color.

Goats are really hard to diagnose with out a vet doing it alot of times they have to do blood tests among others to find out whats wrong every goat displays different symptoms for whatever they may have and be very careful until the vet has been there alot of what a goat can have a human can catch

Symptoms of calcium deficiency: muscle spasms, rickets, osteoporosis, symptoms of excess calcium: calcium is considered non-toxic. Calcium supplements are not recommended for those with kidney problems, including kidney stones.
