William Buffet is a landscape and portrait painter who believed in making tranquil art because "there is already enough violence in the world," (paraphrased from globalgallery.) He painted portraits in Jackson, Mississippi where he met his wife. He later moved to Santa Barbara with his wife and perfected serigraph techniques.
