What do you have for physical workout suggestions?

I need to start a work out routine.

In the army, our routine is simple and effective. First, stretch. Then do cardio by running for twenty minutes alternating one minute run - one minute march. Then you do series of sit-up and push-up. You finish by a cool down walk and other stretch to avoid injuries.

I personally love hiking but I also live near mountains and waterfalls so just going out to look at the falls is enough incentive to get me out hiking.

Pick the amount of days you want to work out. Every other day is good to start with. First, and most important, is to stretch before the main workout. Then proceed with maybe weightlifting, jogging, or a trip on the stair stepper or treadmill. After the main workout, it is important to repeat the stretching routine.
