Take the cat and kittens to a vet to ensure they are healthy and receive any treatment that may be needed. Cats are normally good mothers and with a healthy diet are quite capable of looking after their babies. If homes for the kittens are a problem then getting in touch with a suitable animal shelter may be a good idea.

Keep clean warm towels on hand, clear the airways of mucus, wipe it down very briskly, clamp and cut the cord. Put it back with mother cat asap but if she is moving around a lot you can put it on a heat pad set on low with towels on top to keep it warm until she's ready for it.

Hopefully she's chosen a safe place that can remain undisturbed. If disturbed she may move them elsewhere. Leave them be for at least a week. Discrete observation is okay.

Feed your cat plenty of extra food to keep up milk production. Have the kittens examined by the vet and vaccinated. Find them new homes when they are over eight weeks old.

First, you need to wait until they are weaned from their mother's milk. When they reach that stage, you can either keep them, but if that is not possible, give them away to either friends or by posting an ad.
