Tongue sores are often caused by a virus, so you probably need to see your doctor about them, since you're getting them frequently. Sometimes they are caused by a vitamin deficiency. You could try taking a multi-vitamin and see if that stops them from coming back. Make sure you're keeping your teeth and mouth clean too.

I get these often and my dentist told me to eat yogurt. Plain does better than the fruit kind for me. I also have to stay away from acidic foods. My worst enemy is the tomatoes straight out of my garden!

Tongue sores may be caused by a vitamin B deficiency. Intake of vitamin B tablets will cure the symptom. Gargling with water containing a few drops of nitric acid may help.

You shpuld get the sores checked out by a doctor to determine the cause of the sores as they could be a sign of herpes.

It depends on the cause of mouth sores. Many times mouth sores are caused by infection. The type of infection would have to be determined in order to decide which treatment (antibiotics/antivirals). Sores may be caused by sensitivities to certain chemicals or types of foods. Notice if there is a pattern to these sores so that they can be avoided.

Well usually I am using medicine. It is detergent spray. It is not tasty but helps to heal all wounds.
