If your baby is lactose intolerant you can give them soy formula's that are enriched with all necessary nutrients. Your doctor can also prescibe a baby formula for you, but it will be expensive. Talk to your doctor about the best was to treat this in your baby - they will be able to provide the best advice to you.

If breastfeeding, most infants will not be allergic to the lactose in breast milk, although you may need to give up dairy. There are also lactose-free milk-based or soy formulas.
