They pick one person per episode whose friends and family believe dress really badly. They then teach this person how to dress for their body type and give them money to spend on a new wardrobe following these rules.

They bring in a person that has a horrible sense of fashion and give them a new look. They only makeover one person per show. Usually a stressed out mom with too much on her hands. The person being made over is shown as they look previously then they reveal their new look to friends and family.
