Depends what era of Egyptians you are referring to. Modern-day Egyptians are normally either Christian or Muslim. Ancient Egyptians believed that you would wake up in the afterlife.

About 10% of the modern Egyptian population is Christian, while 90% is Muslim. Ancient Egyptians believed that the after life was much like real life, if the heart was lighter than a feather. You planted crops, enjoyed family and friends. The evil souls were simply devoured.
