What do I look for when shopping for a drill driver?

The torque and Speed. The torque is the actual force applied when driving screws etc. The speed in rpms is the rate at which the chuck will turn when drilling etc. I would also look for something with variable speed. If you are looking for something cordless I would be sure to buy something that comes with two batteries.

When searching for a drill driver its important to consider the power , weight and design of the handle. Even if the driver is heavy a comfortable balanced design will help.

You want to make sure that it has sufficient voltage and that it is also cordless. Check that it's got a great warranty.
