First buy something of higher quality. I recommend buying at a sporting goods/hunting store as they will have more selection than your basic store will.

Well make sure that it's 100% cotton and make sure it's machine washable. Also try it on to make sure it keeps you warm.

You should always buy thermal underwear of a higher quality. The best place to get good thermal underwear is from a catalog call L.L.Bean. The price is a little higher but you get what you pay for.

Make sure to look for thermal underwear that is 100% cotton. If you get underwear that also has nylon fibers in it, this may also help keep you warm.
