Eat fewer parrots. They can cause upset stomachs and even digestive problems, if you don't do a good job removing the feathers.

Check for damage to both halves of the beak and tongue. It's also possible the bird is very dehydrated and so having a hard time swallowing comfortably. The best you can do is contact an avian vet and schedule an appointment.

If the parrot's beak is hurt, this can cause pain. The vet can give you a pain med for the bird.

The best thing that I can tell you to do is to take it to the vet. There could be lots of reasons for it and they would know best.
