Usually a misfire is due to an ignition problem. Most commonly people neglect their plugs to the point the start to not fire. The spark is so small it is smother by the fuel cause the cylinder to "miss". Replace and gapp your plug and check all your wire and ignition components for damage. Also check the fuel system.

you have to determine the reason it is misfiring. that vehicle does not have a distributor. there is an ignition coil on the top of the engine (where the plug wires plug into) check to see if the plugs are worn. also check to see if there is corrosion on the terminal ends of the ignition coil.

Most likely you just need to replace the spark plugs and plug wires. As they age, they become less effective, thus creating a misfire.

Read the user manual and see what type of gasoline octane should be used with the car. Check the spark plugs and wires and see if they are loose or worn. If so, they need to be replaced. If the car is fuel injected get these cleaned as well.
