What could be wrong if my new eye prescriptions has caused blurriness?

This means that either the prescription was not correct or that the glasses or defective. Your optometrist can easily determine which is which.

Most likely, either the doctor wrote the wrong prescription, or the script just got filled wrong. Go back to your eye doctor, and if they don't fix the issue then consider seeing a different doctor. Other things may affect blurred vision also, such as head injuries, brain tumors, and certain medications. Probably just a wrong prescription, though.
