Maybe it's your appendix. Definitely go to the doctor or hospital. Could you have hurt yourself working out? Like a pulled muscle or just sore. If you are a woman maybe your extra sensitive and are feeling yourself ovulate. Also, possible bladder infection. Definitely don't brush it off and see someone if it becomes severe and constant.

Lower left side pain may be caused by irritable bowel syndrome, diverticulitis, crohns's disease, left kidney infection , left kidney stone(s), or ulcerative colities. In women the cause may be ectopic pregnancy, left ovarian disease or left fallopian tube infection. Muscle strain constipation, gas and hernia are other possibilities.

Lower left side pain could be caused by some sort of injury to the oblique muscles of the core. generally it depends on what sort of pain it is as to what type of injury it could be. if the pain is sudden it could be a tear if it is more throbbing it would be a chronic injury.

if your a female the most common cause of lower abdomen pain is the ovaries. even as simple as ovulation can cause discomfort.

Could be the result of a bruise to that area. Internal organs located around that area are the gall bladder, appendix, and kidneys towards the rear. Also, fractured ribs may be a cause.
