A colored discharge from the nasal area is typically due to infection. This may be due to a viral infection, a nasal infection from debris being lodged in the nose, a dental infection draining into the nose, bacterial infection or injury to the nasal area. For this symptom its a good idea to plan to see your vet.

As with people, yellow or green nasal discharge is a signal of possible infection. This infection could be as simple as a cold or it could also be something like kennel cough and should be addressed with your vet as soon as possible.

It is common for a dog to have minor nasal discharge after sneezing. If the discharge is anything but clear, it should prompt you to take your dog to the vet. Typically, yellow or green discharge is seen with infection, but it could be allergies, a foreign body (like a grass seed) or a mass.

Most commonly, yellow discharge in dogs is due to a sinus infection or sinusitis. Sinusitis in dogs is very similar to that in humans--a build up of bacteria in the nasal passages. With dogs, this can negatively impact their appetite. The dog should be treated by a veterinarian to determine the best course of treatment.

You might want to take her into a vet, because colored discharge is a symptom of sinus infections. Often there's no other visible symptom of these things, but she could be in a lot of hurt.

She most likely is suffering from Rhinitis, which is an inflammation of the nose caused by a variety of organism (viral, bacterial, fungal). Administering an antihistamine such as benedryl should clear the problem right up, although if other symptoms show, take her to the vet.

your dog could have a cold called kennel cough or a sinus infection. Some yellow nasal discharge may need a fungal culture to figure out what the case may be. Most discharge can be cleared up with some antibiotics which you will need to see your vet for as well as a diangosis

She probably just has some allergies if you are real worried call the vet tell them the symptoms they will be able to tell you.
