Could be an ulcer, off chance it could be food poisoning. Could simply be you had too much to eat. Pain is difficult to analyze, especially if I don't know the specifics. If it persists for more than a week or so I'd consider checking with a doctor. Good luck.

You could have an ulcer, which would cause an inflammatory-induced pain due to the stomach acid irritating the already-damaged tissue in the stomach lining. The most common cause of this type of pain is a buildup of digestive gases, however.

The squeezing pain in the left side of your stomach is mainly due to stomach problems. Take 2-3 glasses of warm water in empty stomach. Then brush your teeth and take a cup of tea with light food such as biscuit or bread. Don't take fast foods. Fast foods always upsets your stomach.

Well maybe you ate too much and you started doing exercise. Or you know what it could be a kidney stone or a gall bladder stone which is causing the pain.
