Abdominal cramping could be caused from a number of conditions. It could indicate a urinary tract infection or even food poisoning. If you are experiencing other symptoms along with the cramping such as fever or chills this could be a sign of a more serious condition such as a problem with the pancreas. Contact a doctor.

Pregnancy is not always associated with cramps. Sometimes cramps are caused during periods and the pain is immense. Irregular food habits or very spicy foods sometimes lead to loose motions and cramps. It is first advisable to consult a doctor and find the cause of cramps and then accordingly treatment can be started.

Sometimes you can get cramps before your period starts. You may also be suffering from gas, diarrhea, bloating, or other intestinal problems. Consider if your diet has changed lately and may be causing issues.

It could be several things. Gas often has that effect on several people. It also could be pre-menstral cramps, which happen often.

I could be your period starting or other menstral related things. I would check with your doctor if it becomes to consistent and unmanageable.
