You can bake something in the oven and not add water to it and it would be dry. You can nuke it in the microwave.

One of my favorite dry cooking methods is baking. You don't need oil or water to bake, but some people do use oil to bake. I also like grilling. I have a grill pan that fits on my stove so that I can grill inside. This is perhaps my favorite method of dry cooking.
