While beige furniture by itself might be a little dull and boring, it's great in the sense that it goes with almost any color and decor you like. My favorites, to add some spice, are deep, rich earth-tones. For walls, go dark green and add a splash of color with dark blue or burgundy carpet and trim/accents.

I would consider going with a color that isn't neutral. Maybe something in the blue family would work because the couch would really stand out against it.

I would go with something in the greens, blues, or purples. All three would go well with beige. If your room is not too small, you can consider darker colours, like Plum, or if it is something you want to draw light into, you could do a lighter colour like Olive. It really depends what colours you like.
