What color should I paint my kitchen walls if I have a red refrigerator?

I painted my walls a very pretty silver. It is a light color almost like a like grey not an overpowering shiny silver. I did get the high gloss so it does shine more than a grey. It looks really good with red and the two colors compliment each other well.

This could depend on the color of your cabinets as well. If you have wood cabinets a pale shade of yellow would accent a red refrigerator nicely. Or you can go retro with white and black trim or checks to make the red pop. Some chrome or stainless steel would accent as well.

If you have a red refrigerator, you should paint your walls white. White is a lighter color that goes well with any darker color because of the contrast. Plus, it will make your fridge stan out more. You wouldn't want to paint your wall a darker color because it will feel like you're in a dungeon.

A neutral color would look best in your kitchen. Try using cream, gray, or beige color so the refrigerator and wall palates aren't competing.

I think your kitchen walls should be painted beige or white, because the refrigerator's color is very strong already, so it'd be best to avoid other strong colors.
