It depends on permanent fixture colors, such as sinks and tile. If those are neutral or white, just pick a color you like. It's only paint, and so very easy to change if you don't like it!

Go different then what you have. Lighter colors for a bigger look like whites, creams and light yellow and color for a bigger room like blues, aqua, greens and browns.
