It may be the drain. To confirm, pour the water down the drain. Does it smell? If yes, the drain is your problem. Unscrew the aerator and clean it. Pouring some Clorox into the overflow drain might work too.
If the drain isn't your problem, it could be your water supply. If I'm not mistaken, sulfur is sometimes used to filter water and leaves an odor in the water.
