Pimples are known to be caused by many things such as genetics (if someone in your family has it), cleanliness (washing one's face on a regular basis), and one's diet (eating too many oily foods). Another possible reason would include the influence of hormones as pimples are frequently common amongst teenagers.

Pimples are caused by extra amounts of grease and bacteria that collect and get stuck in your pores. You touch your face during the day which transferes oil from your fingers to your face. You also touch things like your cell phone to your face which leads tot acne.

Pimples are caused by bacteria getting into your pores and causing tiny infections. Pimples get worse if you touch/rub your face or if you hair touches your face. The skin on your face may be extra oily and attracts more dirt & bacteria than other areas. Remember to wash your face daily - and don't forget moisturizer with sunscreen! :)

Pimples can often be caused by a build up of general day-to-day grime in your pores. Your face is the most exposed part of your body and has the most sensitive skin. Germs are easily transfered from your hands to your face constantly. Dirt and natural oils can clog your pores to form blackheads, and become infected to form pimples.
