Underarm sweating is variable between people; just because your friend sweats more than normal doesn't mean there's a problem. Some medical conditions are known to cause heat intolerance, including hyperthyroidism, anxiety, menopause, hypoglycemia, pheochromocytoma, menopause, infection, reflex sympathetic dystrophy, and malignancy (such as lymphoma). Excessive sweating is often idiopathic, meaning that doctor's don't have a good reason why it occurs.

Over active sweat glands seem to be troubling for a lot of people. It can be very embarrassing and difficult to cope with. Different companies that manufacture antiperspirants have issued products that claim to be prescription strength, which is normally what a physician would suggest for the problem.

Excessive underarm sweating is abnormal. The cause of more underarm sweating is the number of sweat glands in our underarm. Not all people have the same number of sweat glands in their underarm so some people tend to sweat more than normally. It can be also the effect of the food they eat.

Generally, the problem is due to overactive sweat glands. One solution is to have those glands surgically removed by a dermatological surgeon.
