I imagine that you could contract the herpes virus through sexual contact and oral contact too. to treat it you would have to have a diagnosis and then get yourself antibiotics to take care of it

HZO is caused by the same virus as chicken pox and affects the area surrounding the eye and sometimes the eye itself. Treatment can involve cool compresses and eye drops prescribed by your physician.

HZO is the same virus that causes chickenpox or shingles. People that get HZO have usually not been exposed to these viruses.
