Simple causes are lack of nutrition and a lack of water. Make sure you drink a lot of water or expect your head to hurt. So perhaps dehydration is one cause. Another cause could be lack of sleep, which is a major cause.

For more than 10 million people in the United States, forehead pain is caused by four common diseases/ailments: headaches, migraines, colds, and diabetes. Other causes can range from a knock on the head to dehydration to sinus problems that could be as serious as sinus cancer.

A couple of things could cause forehead pain. 1. Migrain Headaches, especially if the pain is centered in a certain part of the forehead. 2. Hitting the forehead against a hard blunt object.

Forehead pain can be caused by clenching of the frowning muscles, referred pain from the teeth, sinus pressure and other issues, including hat pressure. Severe or chronic pain should be checked out by a health care professional.
