What causes foot cramps?

You may be lacking protein if you experience foot cramping often. Your muscles are sort of "contracting" and, causing your other muscles to be in a place that they're not supposed to be. Just stretch often and make sure you've got enough protein and it won't be a problem!

There are numerous causes for foot cramps and they are frequent among athletes, the aged and sedentary individuals. Some causes include injury caused by repetitive motion, flat feet, lack of muscle strenthening exercise or sudden increase in weight bearing exercise. It can also be caused by vitamin D deficiency.

It could be a million things but the most comon cause is a slightly pulled muscle if it is concerning to you then you need to get an appointment and go in and see the doctor they will do some tests and give you a diagnoses and if need be then they will give you a treatment plan.

There can be a number of causes but most of the foot cramps I've had have come from fallen arches. This is likely to be the case if you are having difficulty walking and usually wear flat shoes. You can do stretches to get your arch back to normal.
