Excessive salivation in ferrets can be caused by a lot of things. Ptyalism, canine distemper, rabies, botulism, and even seizures could all be the culprit. However, since you have two that do it is is probably something infectious. That isn't necessarily serious, but your vet is the best person you can consult for a diagnosis and treatment for these symptoms.
