shower curtains are made of many different materials. Mostly plastic and composite materials. I believe the only way a toxin can be introduced is with cleaning the curtain with toxic cleaning materials or mixing of chemicals to clean with. Not only bad for the shower curtain but can be potentially deadly to the person using them.
