What can you tell me about replacing the starter on a Chevy S10?

Disconnect battery. Remove the bar blocking it in. Disconnect all wiring. Next remove the mounting bolts. Remove starter through bottom. Set new one in place and bolt in. Replace electrical wiring and the lower bar. Reconnect battery. Replace the dust shield IF removed. Start vehicle to check it.

It should be a pretty easy task. Disconnect the battery, unhook the starter connectors, and unbolt the starter. Then install the new one according to the directions.

disconnect battery cables first. buy a good starter. remove all wires to the starter. remove starter. make sure the engine is cool.
