Mums need lots of sunlight-the more the better. Water daily in warm weather; do not allow them to dry out. When flower tops wilt, pluck them-you can dry and resow next season. The mums will go dormant over winter months. You can prune in late winter or early spring; about 18" will help bushier plants develop. Keep well-watered.

The plant must be watered at least once a day and exposed to direct sunlight for at least one hour daily.
