What can you tell me about mixing different ohm speakers?

Don't do it! I'm a live sound engineer, and I guarantee that you'll damage your amp this way. A 4 ohm speaker will draw twice the current (watts) from an amplifier as an 8 ohm speaker will- in other words, you'll overheat the amp's power output circuit. Conversly, 8 ohm to 4 ohm will underpower the speaker and cause distortion.

There isn't any big worries about mixing different resistance (ohm) speakers. So long as you don't exceed the lowest rating you should be fine. I have personally dealt with this predicament and I have had no problems.

Basically ohms is the measure of resistance a speaker has. Typically either 2 or 4 ohms. Basically to be safe you should use all the same ohm rated speaker. Mixing them on a single circuit could cause damage to the speakers.
