The pregnant mouse needs to be removed to a separate tank/cage if sharing accommodations. The gestation period is roughly three weeks. She will require a nesting box. Her diet will have to be supplemented; examples are porridge, kitten food, potato mash and milk. The cage should have very narrow bars as the babies are very tine. A tank is preferable.

Mice usually have at least 5 baby mice in a litter. The babies are born hairless and nurse from their mother for a couple weeks.

I bought a boy rat to mate with my female rat and she had 2 litters of babies!! They dont look like they are pregnant at all and they have the potential to have alot of babies!! I am only assuming that mice are just like rats!!
