Depending on your service provider (ex - AT&T) you will have a specific phone number that you can call, then enter your password to access voice mail. For at&t, 1-888-288-8893.
My friend always does that. They said that they called their service provider and set it up to where by entering a passcode they can listen to their voicemail from any phone!
